At first glance LA just seems like New York with palm trees. It’s been a while since I’ve been in a city that really felt like this. Tampa is just different (maybe because it’s Florida). There’s something familiar and the energy is palpable. It’s not all great of course. Like every other major city it’s a juxtaposition some of the richest and poorest people. I like it so far though. You can feel the diversity and everyone on their own journey. Downside of always being so out of the way where I live now is you just don’t get this feeling. I think this is what my grandfather used to miss about New York – the consistency of life just going on around you.
These always feel like the dirtiest way to dry your hands 😅 Is it really the most hygienic?
