The morning of my flight to LA all I had was a protein shake and it reminded of something my body has seem to have forgotten. For a while now when I have this need to get going I’ve been grabbing caffeine whether that be coffee, energy drinks or pre-workouts.

Terrible, I know…

The thing is that wasn’t always my go to. Before, for the longest time, if I was in a pinch I’d just grab whatever I could find with the most protein. It was a habit and no matter what diet or thing I was doing in life at the time, that served me vastly more than the stimulants. It’s a bit a conscious habit at first but eventually it becomes the “thing you do”.
